The Baoding Zhili Governor's Mansion Museum is a National Level-3 Museum. Located at No. 301 Yuhua West Road, Baoding City, Hebei Province, it stands as one of the best-preserved provincial-level official residences from China’s Qing Dynasty. Originally serving as the office of the Zhili Governor—the highest-ranking military and administrative official in the Zhili Province during the Qing era—the museum traces its roots back to the "Xuanhua Hall," constructed during the Yuan Dynasty's Zhizhong period. According to data released by China’s National Cultural Heritage Administration in 2022, the museum currently houses 590 items/sets of cultural relics, including 57 precious artifacts. It also hosts 9 exhibitions and organizes 6 educational activities annually, attracting a total of 223,800 visitors. On January 13, 1988, the Zhili Governor's Mansion was officially designated as a key national cultural heritage site by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. Later, on December 21, 2020, the museum was recognized as part of the fourth batch of National Level-3 Museums announced by the China Museum Association. Most recently, in August 2024, it was upgraded to a National Level-2 Museum.
