Ma Li (Director)

Ma Li, male, Han ethnicity, born in September 1981, is from Yixian County, Hebei Province. A member of the Communist Party of China, he graduated in June 2008 with a master’s degree in History from the School of History and Culture at Sichuan University, specializing in Archaeology and Museology. Since joining work in July 2008, Ma Li currently serves as the Party Branch Secretary and Director of the Baoding Zhili Governor's Mansion Museum. He holds the professional title of Associate Research Curator. Under his leadership, several landmark exhibitions have been successfully completed, including the comprehensive historical display "The Story of Baoding" for the new Baoding City Museum, the red culture exhibition "A Vital Region Near Beijing, a Revolutionary Hotspot," the intangible cultural heritage showcase titled "Memories of Baoding," and the permanent exhibit "The Zhili Governors and Zhili Province." Notably, these exhibitions have earned prestigious accolades, such as the National Cultural Heritage Administration’s 2021 Recommended Project under the theme "Promoting Excellent Traditional Culture and Cultivating Socialist Core Values," as well as recognition as one of the Top Ten Red-Themed Exhibitions and one of the Top Ten Boutique Exhibitions in Hebei Province. Currently, Ma Li also serves as an Executive Director of the Hebei Provincial Museum Association. Additionally, he has been honored as an Outstanding Expert Managed by Baoding City, a Young Expert in Ideological and Political Research for Baoding City, a Leading Academic and Technical Figure in Baoding City, and a member of the Baoding Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is the author of two published monographs and has contributed more than ten professional articles to esteemed publications such as the *China Cultural Relics News*, *China Education Network*, *Cultural Monthly*, *Wenwu Chunqiu*, and the *Journal of Baoding College*.
